Cassidie Bonham, LNHA, LALD – Campus Administrator

Cassidie is the Administrator at Cornerstone Villa. Cassidie has spent her whole life caring for those around her and dreaming of the day she can run her own facility. Cassidie started off as a Certified Nursing Assistant, and then worked her way to Social Service Designee, and finally to Administrator. She double majored in Business Administration and Marketing at Bemidji State University, and then went on to get her Nursing Home Administrator and Director of Assisted Living Licenses from the University of Minnesota-Crookston. When Cassidie isn’t at work, you can find her hanging out with her dogs, traveling, camping and just being outside with her family. The most important thing to Cassidie is making sure that her residents and staff are taken care of, and that everyone in her care is as comfortable as possible.

Salyna Herberg – Director of Nursing

Salyna is a Unit Manager at Cornerstone Villa and joined the facility in January 2025. Salyna is a Registered Nurse graduate from South Central College in Faribault, MN in 2010 and was born and raised in Northfield, MN. Prior to becoming a Registered Nurse Salyna worked at an Adult Care Center for Mentally Disabled Adults as a Job Coach then received her LPN license and worked in a nursing home in Cannon Falls, MN on the night shift. Salyna moved up to the Iron Range in 2010 and worked as a PCA for Home Instead out of Hibbing, MN before obtaining her first RN job at what is now known as Waterview Pines for the past 13 years first as a night RN, then afternoons and then as a Unit Manager. Salyna is married to her husband and has 2 grown boys – Tyler & Ryan. Salyna and her husband enjoy home life, spending time with friends and family and their yearly weeklong island camping on White Iron Lake. Salyna has 3 dogs – 13-year-old yellow lab (Cody) and 3-year-old black lab males (Dexter & Stout – brothers).  Salyna enjoys sitting in her screen in Gazebo on her backyard deck in the warmer months and putting together puzzles during the colder months.

Sheila Sandberg, RN – Assistant Director of Nursing

Sheila has worked at Cornerstone Villa since the spring of 2022. She was born and raised on the Iron Range in the Cook/Bear River area. Sheila was a CNA for 15 years prior to returning to nursing school for her RN license. Following nursing school, she continued to work at a local nursing home as the Nurse Manager, Assistant Director of Nursing and Admissions Nurse. Sheila has four children, two grandchildren, and two more grandchildren on the way. When Sheila isn’t working, she enjoys spending time with family and watching the kids/grandkids participate in sports. Sheila’s favorite part of her job is collaborating with her team members in efforts to better assist our residents.

Stacy Dobson – Social Services Liaison

Stacy is our Social Services Liaison and has been a part of the Cornerstone Team since 2009. Stacy started her career at Cornerstone Villa as a Certified Nursing Assistant, and you will still find her working on the floor as an aide here and there. Stacy has been the Activity Director for the past 12 years, and now works in Social Services. She is devoted to our residents and their smiles and laughter bring her great joy.

Jeff Dobson – Environmental Services Manager

Jeff is our Environmental Services Manager and has been a part of the Cornerstone Team since the facility broke ground in 2004. He has over 41 years of experience working in the Skilled Nursing Facility setting starting as a Dietary Aide and working his way into Maintenance and Management.

Ketti Chamberlain – Human Resources/Business Office

Ketti is Cornerstone Villa’s Human Resources Director and Business Office Manager. Ketti has worked here since July 2020. Before coming to CSV Ketti was a stay-at-home mother for eight years for her two kids. Ketti graduated with her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from Bemidji State University. When Ketti is not at work she enjoys traveling the world, and watching her son play hockey and her daughter cheer.

Angela Aluni, RN – MDS Coordinator & Infection Preventionist

Angela has been working in long term care for the past 12 years, first as a CNA, then an LPN, and now as an RN for the past 5 years. She graduated from Hibbing Community College in 2018 with her RN. She loves working with this population and finds it to be a very fulfilling career, the residents are an extension of her family! Angela has been at Cornerstone since June 2023. Prior to this, she worked in Virginia at a long term care facility as CNA, LPN, and finally as Clinical Manager for one of the long-term care units. Angela lives in Embarras with her 7 children, her dog Carl, and her guinea pig Bernard. When she is not at work, she enjoy hanging out with her kids, puzzles, movies, and playing games. She also loves being outside! She is so happy to be able to care for your loved one!

Sarah Nygard, RN – Assisted Living Nurse Manager

Sarah is the Assisted Living Nurse Manager. She has been a nurse since 2011. Sarah started as an LPN, Graduating from Mesabi Range College and worked as an LPN at Cornerstone Villa until she decided to continue her education and become a RN. Sarah graduated from the RN program at Hibbing Community College as has worked in nursing homes and assisted livings throughout her nursing career. Sarah was also a CNA for three years prior to becoming a nurse in a nursing home. Sarah has always lived on the Iron Range, and in her free time she enjoys spending time with her family and being outdoors. She enjoys Fishing, boating, riding ATVs, hunting, and soaking in the view of any beautiful lake.

Kelli Hansen, PT – Director of Rehabilitation

Kelli has been working at Cornerstone Villa as a Licensed Physical Therapist since 2013. She graduated from The College of St. Scholastica with a degree in PT in 1991 and has worked throughout the United States as a travelling PT and many full time positions in all areas of therapy during that time. Kelli homeschools her 14 year old son when not working and enjoys outdoor activities including camping, kayaking, and hiking. She also enjoys taking care of a small hobby farm with her son.

Leonard Sidle – Dietary Manager

Lenny joined the Cornerstone Villa team in the Spring of 2024. Prior to coming on as the Dietary Manager, Lenny was a Supervisor at the Gold Mine Grill at Fortune Bay Resort and Casino for seven years. He started as a Buffet Cook then moved to a Line Cook and worked up to the Supervisor position. When Lenny is not working, he likes hunting, fishing and coin collecting. Lenny’s favorite part of his job is engaging with the residents and learning new things.

Kelly Manner – Registered Dietician

Kelly is Cornerstone Villa’s Registered Dietician. Kelly has worked at Cornerstone since July of 2018. Before being at Cornerstone Villa, Kelly studied and got her Degree from The University of North Dakota. She has been a dietician since 2006 and has served in hospitals and care facilities in the area since then. Kelly grew up on a dairy farm and loves to hear about other farming stories from the past, along with showing her horses competitively. When Kelly is not working or showing her horses, you can bet that she is golfing, bowling, or hanging out with her friends and family. Kelly thrives on making eating as enjoyable as possible for our residents as food is something that everyone has an option about.

Molly Lautizi – Activity Director

Molly has been Cornerstone Villa’s Activity Director since the Fall of 2024. Molly grew up visiting the local nursing home as a child and worked every summer as an Activity Assistant throughout High School. After High School, Molly attended college and became a Licensed Cosmetologist and spent eight years in that industry before she moved back to Long-Term Care. Molly says she has always had a passion for working with elders and loves to give the residents something to look forward to every day. Molly’s favorite part of her job is making the Residents smile, showing off her crafty & creative side and making everyone laugh. When Molly is not at work, she is usually busy being a boy mom and loves every bit of it.
